Great watch for the price. I agree with another reviewer about the center links being folded over. I bought an after market solid link bracelet for it, but went back to the stock one. Great lume on the dial, very readable. The traditional size is growing on me after wearing 40+mm for some time.

I wanted this watch for 2 years now and finally decided to pull the trigger. Thank you Seiya for the superb delivery service. The watch looks very practical and simple,very easy to read and absolutely comfortable to wear,perfect to use during winter when you usually wear sweaters and jacket. I'm loving it,now my Gshocks feels huge compared to this one.

Impeccable service as always from Seiya. The watch is obviously high quality. The dial and hands look fantastic - much better than a comparable Hamilton. The lume is great as expected by Seiko. Three things to note about the bracelet: 1) As said before, the center links are folded 2) the center links are brushed while the outer links are bead blasted like the case - it's a subtle difference and looks nice 3) the bracelet is loud and rattles as much or more than an old style Rolex bracelet. The watch is very comfortable to wear due to the limited height. I know some like it higher, but this is sleek and rides under your cuff unnoticed all day till you need it. It's similar in size to a Citizen Chronomaster, so fairly small compared to the current trend. But it does wear look larger on the wrist because of the face design. Very nicely finished watch and I could tell its not the cheap Seiko variety seen everywhere here in Singapore. Its very light weight and traditional small face took a while for me to get used to (my only other watch is a massive Sinn U1) but it looks great and sorta grows on you. I just bought the SBCA001. What a great watch! I love military watches anyway and have owned Seikos for years. This is the best of both. Has a nice weight and feel to it, classic looks, ruggedly made, and seaworthy as well. As for Seiya-san, trouble free transaction and I very impressed with the packaging and shipping. Class act all the way!!!!

My 3rd watch from Seiya-san. Excellent service. Watch arrived in N.Y. in 4 days. SBCA001 quality is very good. The case has some heft. Dial is perfect. Second hand aligns with the minute markers. Seiko Military Quartz is a great watch! Small profile lends to its extreme comfort. Flawless dial and white on black date wheel are reasons I love this watch. Wish the hour markers were lumed like it says in the description. Also wish the watch was little bigger and thicker. That being said for the money it is hard to beat. The case has a very nice shape and the lume on the hands and numbers is very nice. Seiya is always a pleasure to do business with!! Recommend this watch highly!
